We are seeking for a motivated and experienced researcher in the area of cerebrovascular development and pathology with a focus on pericytes to join the neurovascular laboratory at the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Zurich, University Hospital of Zurich.Your responsibilities
Application of modern biostatistics to large scale datasets. These include Next Generation Sequencing data (e.g. single cell/nuclei RNA seq data).Establishing and analysing pre-clinical mouse stroke models. Project management and supervising doctoral students.
Your profile
PhD in Intergative Molecular Medicine or in Neuroscience.Experience in the field of cerebrobvascular biology.
Minimum 3 years of postoc experience.
Demonstrated experience in the analysis of single cell/nuclei RNA-seq data.
Knowlegde in R and Python.
Experience with mouse handling and breeding transgenic mouse lines.
Valid FELASA cat. B certificate.
Demonstrated experience in imaging techniques confocal microscopy and light-sheet microscopy and image analysis.
Experience in cell culture techniques.
