As Financial Analyst you will be part of the Global Logistics & Operations (GLO) European Finance team.

What you will do:

  • You will provide financial support and guidance to (GLO) teams in Europe.
  • You will take ownership of financial processes associated to the Venlo Central Distribution Center (CDC) and coordinate these for the operational teams throughout Europe.
  • You will support the overall planning & control cycle, provide management data, support on various projects, and act as first point of contact to financial queries from the operations teams in Venlo.
  • You will take the lead in month-end close activities for GLO Europe and Commercial teams
  • You will analyse and assess business results (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • You will provide functional reporting and analysis (e.g. cost per unit, volumes, headcount, indirect spend)
  • You will prepare and lead monthly business finance reviews, mainly CDC
  • You will coordinate budget process and forecasting cycles
  • You will provide financial assistance to projects / initiatives where needed
  • You will act as a single point of contact for the Poland Finance Center (PFC) for defined topics (e.g. AP, fixed assets, vendor management, freight management)

What you will need:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial international environment.
  • Experience in Supply Chain/CDC is a big plus, but not mandatory
  • Experience with International Standards (e.g. US GAAP/SoX/ISO)
  • Experience with Financial Statements & project management
  • Familiar with Oracle and Hyperion and preferred and/or ERP/SAP
  • Knowledge on Power-Bi preferable
  • High Level of competence on Microsoft Package, advanced user of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas, etc.)
