About the Role
Contribute to the protection, maintenance, monitoring and enhancement of Darebin's creek corridors and conservation reserves.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational works planning.
- Undertake chemical, mechanical and manual weed control activities.
- Implement various works pertaining to ecological restoration (Planting, Mulching, Weeding).
- Assist in daily works preparation including suitable equipment, PPE and planning.
- Tertiary qualification in natural resource management (or related discipline) and relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of indigenous flora, fauna and weed species relevant to Darebin and ecological management processes.
- Experience in the use of machinery, tools and equipment applicable to Natural Resource Management.
- Chainsaw level 1: Operate and Maintain
- Chemical Users Certificate.
