Basic Functions
Responsible for the performance of maintenance in buildings, grounds and facilities in support of Customer Aviation Base Operations and Airfield. Requirements include custodial services, a variety of semi-skilled work in maintenance, repair and minor upkeep of various buildings. These requirements include but are not limited to minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, concrete and asphalt repair and the full range of custodial services associated with the care, maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of various Customer Aviation buildings and properties.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

B. Independence: Follows instructions of the AVN Facilities manager. Authority to select and I implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
1.Develop, establish and implement a standard operating procedures, plan of actions and statement of works.
2. Coordinate general maintenance tasks and work orders in accordance with work schedules for normal weekly, monthly, quarterly work, weekend cleaning and facility maintenance as projected.
3. Coordinate for the Inspection of work of the subcontractor to ensure work is properly performed.
4. Coordinate for the inspection of building facilities to assist in identifying building maintenance and report building maintenance requirements as needed.
5. Synchronize the daily general maintenance tasks which include but are not limited to the following: custodial services, a variety of semi-skilled work in maintenance, repair and minor upkeep of various buildings, minor carpentry, plumbing, filter and light fixture maintenance, electrical painting, landscaping, plaster, concrete and asphalt repair.
6. Coordinate for inventory and request supplies and materials in support of routine preventive maintenance and custodial functions.
7. Interfaces with the Customer for facilities maintenance issues.
8. Maintains time sheets for subcontractor personnel.
9. Perform other tasks as required.

C. Supervisory Responsibilities: All flight line facilities maintainers and repair personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
A. Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent OJT.
C. Specific knowledge, skills, ability: Knowledgeable in facilities maintenance and custodial operations. Knowledgeable in resource and time management. Knowledgeable of health and sanitary practices. Able to follow instructions in English and Arabic. Lift and carry 20 kilos. Must possess valid driver’s license.
B. Experience: 3 years’ experience in facilities maintenance. 3 years’ custodial and maintenance operations
C. Specific knowledge, skills, ability: Knowledgeable in facilities maintenance and custodial operations. Knowledgeable in resource and time management. Knowledgeable of health and sanitary practices. Able to follow instructions in English and Arabic. Lift and carry 20 kilos. Must possess valid driver’s license.
