Human Resource Administrator (6 months) - Northern Region [South Africa]

The Human Resource team is in need of a dynamic and administratively strong team player to assist in the daily tasks of the Human Resource Team. The successful candidate will be able to self-manage and be diligent in completing duties. Ad-hoc responsibilities would be included in this role and therefore it is important to manage time and outcomes.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Working on Payroll System
  • Recruiting through the ATS system
  • Loading of new team members and all relevant documentations on Payroll system
  • Capture contract information that will be forwarded by the HRBP
  • Finalising new starters documentation, vetting the information on the system
  • Terminations initiated and supporting documentation uploaded
  • Reference, ITC and criminal checks
  • Ensure that all payment queries are dealt with timeously
  • Communicate with team members at all levels (senior and junior) in a professional/ corporate office environment
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders by initiating and maintaining regular interactions
  • Ad hoc administrative requests
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Experience


  • Microsoft office proficient
  • HR Admin experience preferable
  • Excel advance preferable
  • Experience using a recruitment and payroll system preferable

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification will be advantageous

Purpose

  • To support the HRBP team with comprehensive HR Admin processes.
  • Act as a dedicated source to HRBP team to coordinate end to end HR administration.
  • The HRA will have a specialised skillset in holistic administrative duties.
  • Working knowledge of the SAGE system (Preferable)..
  • Assist in filing, uploading and creation of new employees.
  • Ad-hoc duties to be fulfilled to assist the HRBP to focus on stores
