We have an opportunity to join our Marketing and Communications team as a Marketing Executive based in our Singapore office. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for providing marketing support in the Asia Pacific region including the development and distribution of regional go-to-market strategies, campaigns and initiatives, regional event support and management, and the co-ordination of all regional marketing, communications, and public relations materials.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the design and implementation of all regional external marketing and go-to-market campaigns including promotional materials, conferences, sponsorship, event planning, management and attendance, seminars, tradeshows, website, press releases etc.
- Providing regional event and conference management leadership across the Asia Pacific region through liaison with venues and managing the various logistics associated with the event. Attending events as required when directed by other members of the GTM and marketing teams.
- Engaging with NorthStandard’s London & Newcastle based Marketing & Communications Team on a daily basis.
- Coordinating of translated content for our colleagues in Asia.
- Acting as regional liaison between the NorthStandard suppliers including design agencies, print suppliers, photographers, and various marketing services, as required.
- Maintaining and developing the Asia Pacific Pitch Pack for Underwriters.
- Co-ordinating production of regional departmental / product newsletters and publications in addition to maintaining and updating customer databases.
- Working as part of the team in the design of innovative marketing materials, sharing ideas and providing feedback.
- Assisting in writing and editing marketing materials including articles, presentations, and other collateral.
- Proofreading of press releases and other marketing materials.
- Coordinating regional media monitoring and coverage reports.
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- A minimum of three years proven B2B marketing experience as a Marketing Executive or Marketing Assistant.
- A recognised degree (BA or BSc) in in marketing, business administration or other relevant discipline.
- Strong understanding of professional marketing best practices including campaign strategy planning and management, data analysis, public relations, event organisation, sponsorship and campaign evaluation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Creativity and commercial awareness.
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of e-communications, including websites and social networking sites.
- Experience in creating/using databases for various mailshots and marketing campaigns.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- A Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing
