About Our Client

Are you an experienced Project Coordinator looking to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Project Coordinator within our growing team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Manager to ensure successful project implementations.

Job Description

  • Financial Management Support: Assist the Project Manager in various financial management activities, including raising purchase orders and requisitions, processing invoices, maintaining the project cost model, and fulfilling month-end requirements such as forecasts and accruals.
  • Project Schedule Maintenance: Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain the project schedule using Microsoft Project. Regularly review the schedule to ensure tasks and milestones are being achieved within set timelines, and verify that resource forecasts align accurately with timesheets.
  • Status Reporting and Documentation: Prepare status reports, compile materials for Steering Committee meetings, maintain action logs and registers, and fulfill any ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Resource Management: Facilitate new start processes, track resource information, and assist in preparing Business Cases, Statements of Work (SOWs), and SOW variations for project resources.
  • General Project Administrative Support: Provide assistance to the Project Manager in handling project-related administrative tasks, including booking travel, attending meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining relevant project registers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous Project Coordinator experience in the Information Technology domain.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project.
  • Mandatory experience in using SAP procurement and project modules.
  • Mandatory experience in managing project financials in SAP and a financial workbook (cost model).
  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies: Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and structures
  • Organisational and Administrative Skills: Strong organisational and administrative abilities, including exceptional attention to detail and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as well as operational staff.
