Cowell Electric is a division of the Ahrens Group. We are a leading powerline construction and electrical contracting company, specialising in providing construction and maintenance services to mining areas in remote and regional South Australia. We also provide a wide range of design, construction and maintenance trade services to the mining, oil, gas & energy industries.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a Project & Reporting Support person at our Cowell location. Reporting to the Management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing day to day and project specific support across the business.
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Electricity retail reporting to essential services commission
- Bank reconciliation processes for prepayment electricity customers
- Assist with client reporting requirements
- Manage subcontractor on boarding and documentation management
- Tendering support for projects branch
- Project branch support including – timesheet entry, assisting with invoicing as required, job folders and document preparation
- Travel and accommodation bookings as required;
- HSEQ system document control
- Regular communication with site personnel
- Answering phones, forwarding calls and taking messages as required;
- Assist in the end of month financial process;
- Assist with key administrative tasks required Provide support to management and other staff with other various tasks as required.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Desired 3-year experience in a similar position;
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills;
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritising work to meet deadlines
- Strong organisational skills ensuring accuracy in project documentation
- proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular excel
- Ability to work as part of a team with
- Ability to be proactive and multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication;
- Ability to work under pressure and adaptive to changing work requirements Driver’s licence.
