The Project Manager will be responsible to perform and manage work according to Enhanced Drilling & client`s safety & operational demands, with focus to ensure the safety of yourself, your team and all other Enhanced Drilling employees.
The EC Drill & RMR project manager is responsible for planning, execution and evaluation of projects within all operational disciplines in Enhanced Drilling.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
ONSHORE
The EC Drill & RMR project manager is responsible for establishing and performing projects to execute customer contracts according to client contract terms and conditions, and with financial performance equal or better than the project budget received from the Sales & Marketing dept.
Projects will be executed according to Enhanced Drilling’s Project manual, which includes, but are not limited to:
- Ensure fully comprehension of customer contract terms and conditions, and the project budget received from the Sales and Marketing dept.
- Project planning – hereunder establishing the project structure and P&L
- Continuous communication with the customer regarding scope of work, cost and timing
- Develop project specific procedures for the upcoming operation
- Issue request to the Enhanced Drilling organization in order to deliver according to customer timeline and follow up on mobilizations regarding equipment, engineering and crew
- Ensure that proper HSEQ planning and risk assessments are executed including deviation control
- Issue VOR’s to the customer if scope, cost or timing changes
- Reporting on project operational and financial status and progress
- Perform necessary follow up and mitigations if necessary
- Crew briefings prior to offshore operation
- Involved in personnel management and appraisal dialogues
- Follow up on the ongoing operation/projects
- Invoicing and follow-up
- Evaluation of the project and post job reporting
- Capability to gain in-depth knowledge in all EDR services and systems, including function, applications, risks, and limitations of EC Drill, CTS, RMR & MPC services
OFFSHORE
The project manager may be required to work offshore for temporary visits if required for management follow up, site visits or personal experience needed to execute future projects.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
- Strong project management skills including: Full understanding of contract terms and conditions, project planning capability and strong customer communication skills
- Commercial understanding of project revenue, cost and profit
- Experience with managing an offshore crew, including briefing, onshore operational support, and de-briefing
- Experience with drilling operations / well control procedures and training course material
- Experience with writing project specific procedures
- Experience to lead risk assessments
- English and Norwegian verbal and written
