As a HARVEST restaurant manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations including training, staffing, labour costs, scheduling, ordering and active floor management. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, your role is crucial in the development of the HARVEST brand. Inspiring your team and providing support is of utmost importance.
An ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of restaurant supply chains
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Management skills and ability to lead a team
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities and duties of this role involve:
- Working 40+ hours per week
- Keeping track of inventory
- Placing orders with suppliers accordingly
- Hire and train staff
- Ensure cleanliness and standards of restaurant are met
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
- Monitor sales
- Follow a budget to maximize profits
- Work alongside team to develop marketing strategies
- Report to owners and other managers
