Job Summary:
Provides friendly, excellent service to all employees who pick up and drop off their uniforms. Assists in daily uniform or wardrobe duties for the property. Responsible for exchanging, logging/tracking and keeping accurate inventory of all employee garments and uniforms. Performs minor repairs to uniforms; assist with receipt of laundry and other items. Complete all related paperwork as required.
Qualifications:
- Six months prior wardrobe experience preferred.
- Ability to get along well and work as a team member.
- Must demonstrate exceptional organizational and inventory control skills.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must be computer literate.
- Preferred bilingual in Spanish.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for fitting, ordering, receiving and recording of all uniforms.
- Compiles inventory of all items relating to wardrobe.
- Maintains and cares for all wardrobe items.
- Maintains a clean and organized work space, including wardrobe storage.
- Greets employees and give them their appropriate uniform.
- Operates the badging machine.
- Works cooperatively with BVGC in processing badges.
- Processes new hires, issues lockers, creates nametags, clears terminated employees.
- Keeps accurate counts of production and records on log sheets.
- All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”.
- Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural ques.
- Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work in an environment that is humid, hot or cold.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from the ground to above head level.
- Must be able to lift, carry and hang uniforms constantly from one rack to another.
- Must be able to push and pull heavy racks of uniforms.
- Must be able to climb or step continually and quickly maneuver in small work areas.
- Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and calmly handle stressful situations
- Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
