Job Description
Tasks and Responsabilities:
- GENERAL ACCOUNTING: Perform accounting duties such as reviewing, researching, analyzing and reconciling ledger accounts, bank accounts, setting up and maintaining expenditures and revenue working papers, spreadsheets and reconciliation to general ledger. Analyze and reconcile account balances. Prepare, review, and post journal entries. Experience with analytical accounting. Perform the year end closure and the local Financial Statements.
- PAYABLE PROCESS ( service and goods) : GR/IR follow up, clearing accounts, analysis and group reconciliation.
- REPORTING : perform month end entries, calculate accruals, load BS and PL into Group reporting software -
- YEAR END CLOSURE : Participate actively with the Finance Director to annual Financial Statements closure
- TAX :Perform tax declarations: VAT, Intrastat, local taxes
- Collaborate closely to controller, commercial excellence colleagues, other business partners and cross functional teams;
- Assist on projects and assignments related to the Finance department;
- Co-ordinate data with the internal and external Auditors;
- MANAGEMENT: one payable accountant
Competenze ed esperienza
Requirements and skills:
- At least, 5 years experience in a similar job, in a subsidiary of an international group.
- SAP knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles.
- Ability to prepare detailed correspondence, memoranda, summaries, financial statements, and documentation requiring the interpretation and application of a wide range of administrative accounting practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
