Join us in this role where you’ll become a Senior Business Analyst for commodities across our business. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that commodities decision-making is improved, securing a solid data foundation for future projects. In more detail, you’ll take responsibility for maturing the organisation’s insights into commodity dynamics and the impact it has on construction of our projects.

Welcome to Global Procurement Excellence
You’ll be part of Supply Chain Analytics where you, together with your colleagues, will strive for best-in-class analytic support for Procurement and Product Lines. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Commodities, who is responsible for maturing Ørsted’s commodity strategy and understanding raw materials and financial risk exposures. In this role, you’ll work closely with Senior Management and develop best-in-class commodity understanding and data support through this collaboration. As a team, we focus on successful collaboration across our global teams with colleagues in Warsaw, Kuala Lumpur, and Gentofte. Also, we value sharing the latest analytical techniques and embrace all learning opportunities and knowledge-sharing from our diverse colleagues.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving the roll-out of commodity risk insights and mitigation strategies, rooting it across Global Procurement with the Head of Commodities
  • developing commodity data structures and reporting methodologies e.g., via Power-BI
  • establishing knowledge-sharing of commodity risk mitigation principles
  • collaborating and communicating with Procurement Market Risk and Risk Management
  • being an enthusiastic partner for Procurement and Analytics colleagues and organising relevant communities across Procurement & PL.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have significant experience from a similar financial role combined with a degree in either supply chain management or finance/accounting
  • possess strong communication skills for reporting and securing commodities a clear voice and excellent English skills both orally and in writing
  • have advanced skills within PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
  • are structured, fact-based, and transparent
