Your Role...
The Student Services team, SEVE is looking for a Project Officer for the Office of Student Life. The position covers a range of duties and functions directly related to the administration and organisation of high quality extra-curricular programs focused on enhancing the student experience.
In this context, the Project Officer will reinforce the University’s Office of Student Life team and ensure the smooth operational delivery of key projects. In this role, you will:
- implement, direct and oversee the University Campus Life offering to students and staff
- be actively involved in the organisation of events and outreach activities to promote student life
- coordinate relationships with internal and external stakeholders around student life projects, with a particular focus on campus sport
- maintain and further develop cooperation with the student delegation, student associations and main student body
- initiate and track projects as well as provide reports to UL management upon request
- act as point of liaison for all students and staff wishing to participate in Campus Life activities
What we expect from you…
Strong interest in student life and in-depth knowledge of University extra-curricular activities.
- master’s degree
- at least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role/environment
- highly motivated individual with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional, positive and friendly service
- proven experience in project based work (administration, organisation of resources, coordination of parties, application of high-level problem-solving and multi-tasking skills)
- experience in planning and delivering administrative support for programs within a university setting
- results-focused, able to apply sound judgment and critical thinking, escalating issues as appropriate, and providing recommendations for improvement to service delivery
- command of MS Office suite. Knowledge and use of graphics, web management and video software would be appreciated
- excellent command of English and French. German and/or Luxembourgish will be considered as an asset
